PEER MENTORING
The Gathering Place has on staff 3 highly qualified Certified Peer Specialists and 4 Recovery Coaches. They provide peer support individually and in a group setting. A Certified Peer Specialist is an individual with a mental health condition who is certified in peer mentoring. A Recovery Coach has received training to give support, mentor and advocate for their peers who have addictions to alcohol or drugs. Plan to connect with one of our staff as they are great resources to have!

Feel like you need extra one-on-one support? Meet with a Certified Peer Specialist or Recovery Coach in a safe, comforting, and judgement-free place.
Our qualified staff are role models for wellness and recovery. They can be by your side as you work through challenges and to identify your needs, wants, goals, and dreams which is often the first step towards recovery.

GROUP SUPPORT
The Gathering Place offers 11 support groups each week facilitated by a Certified Peer Specialist or Recovery Coach. The support groups are designed to give you a chance to learn and practice valuable skills such as sharing, listening and empathizing.
Support groups are confidential. We encourage each participant to share what is on their mind. It is ok to pass, too. The number one guideline is "We will never give up hope!"
