9th ANNUAL COMMUNITY DAY
Thursday, August 24th 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The theme for this year’s Community Day is “Discovering Hope Through Peer Support.” Hope is a powerful word in the realm of mental health. Embracing hope gives our members strength to overcome the challenges they face. Through peer support, members in recovery serve as role models for others by keeping a bright outlook on life.
The first Community Day was conceptualized as a day to open our doors to the greater Green Bay community that has been so supportive of us since our inception in 1996. The event has grown by leaps and bounds. We are anticipating this year’s certain success!
On this day, August 24, 2023, we open our doors to people living across the state, in the county, the city, the neighborhood, and even the stranger walking by.
Those who attend will have the opportunity to meet our members who may share how hope has impacted their lives.
We will acknowledge our benefactors and seek to attract many new ones. At the Community Day event, our supporters will see the impact their gifts have made on the quality of life for staff, volunteers and those we serve.
Community Day is a rewarding event for everybody. Look for the balloons!
